2. Service Overview
Subsquat provides an online subdomain takeover vulnerability scanning service. The Service is available in both free and Premium (paid) options. All domains submitted for scanning require prior proof of domain ownership via a unique DNS txt record that must be added to the domain's DNS.
3. Registration and User Verification
To use the Service, you must register an account and provide accurate information. You must also verify ownership of any domain you wish to scan by adding a unique DNS txt record as specified by the Service. Failure to comply with this verification process may result in suspension or termination of your account.
4. Premium Services
Subscription to Premium Services requires payment, and additional terms may apply. All payments are subject to the payment terms provided at the time of purchase.
5. Restrictions and Responsibilities
You may not use the Service to:
- Scan domains you do not own or have explicit legal permission to scan.
- Engage in any activity that is illegal under applicable law.
- Use the Service in any manner that could damage or overburden the Service.
- You are solely responsible for your use of the Service, including any content you submit and compliance with applicable laws.
6. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to us, other Subsquat users, third parties, or for any other reason.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Subsquat Limited. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.
8. Changes to the Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of the Service. To the fullest extent permissible by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
We will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, data, or other intangibles, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
